Packaging and Transportation of Granite Platforms

I. Product Characteristics and Premises
Granite is brittle; precision surfaces are susceptible to bumps, heavy pressurend scratches. The precision working surface must be isolated and protected throughout the process, and hard contact is strictly prohibited.

II. Standard Packaging Process

  1. Surface Protection (First
Apply thickened protective film / pearl cotton film to the precision working surface for full coverage to prevent scratches, dust, and oil stains.
Fully wrap edges, corners, and all perrs with hard corner protectors foam to prevent chipping and corner breakage.
Seal threaded holes and mounting holes with dust plugs to prevent dust and debris from entering.
    2nner Cushioning Packaging
Wrap the entire board’s sides, top, and bottom with thickened high-density EVA foam / shock-absorbing foam.
Ensure there is no direct tact between the platform and the wooden crate; full cushioning isolation is required.
  2. Outer Wooden Crate Reinforcement (Mandatory)
Use thickened solid wood fumigated ates / non-fumigated plywood crates. Non-fumigated crates are prioritized for foreign trade to facilitate customs clearance.
Reinforce the crate interior with horizontal and vertical wooden str and a crisscross keel structure to distribute stress.
Securely fix and limit the platform at the bottom to prevent sliding, shifting, and collisions during transport.
Reinforce theerior of the wooden crate with steel straps to enhance overall sturdiness.
  3. Labeling and Marking
Clearly print on the exterior of the wooden crate:
[FGILE][KEEP DRY][DO NOT TURN UPSIDE DOWN][HANDLE WITH CARE][DO NOT STACK]
Include product model, dimensions, weight, and recipient information.

III. Loading and Loading Rrements
Granite platforms must be placed stably in a vertical or horizontal position; slanting or single-point loading is strictly prohibited.
Place cushioning materials between crates and secure themth straps to prevent impact from braking, bumps, and shaking.
Do not stack heavy objects on top of the wooden crates containing stone; do not mix with heavy cargo.
In rainy wea, ensure the entire vehicle is covered with a waterproof tarp to prevent moisture and water seepage.

IV. Transportation Method Selection
Domestic Short Haul: Dedicated vehicle logistics ore-piece less-than-truckload (LTL); prioritize direct delivery to reduce transshipment and loading/unloading.
Foreign Trade Export: Sea freight / Air freight; wooden crates must complyrt packaging standards using non-fumigated materials to avoid inspection issues.
Extra-large or extra-heavy granite bases: Custom reinforced wooden crates forklift loading/unloading; manual lifting dragging is strictly prohibited.

V. Loading and Unloading Precautions
Throughout the process, forklifts or cranes must be used for smooth lifting and lowering; throwng, rolling, dragging, or hitting the wooden crates is prohibited.
Ensure even force distribution during handling; single-sided or single-point lifting is strictly prohibited.
Upon receipt, perform a visual inspeefore unpacking to verify the absence of bumps, chipped corners, or cracks, and take photos for documentation.
