Chamfering is not better the larger it is; it must be selected comprehensively based on <strong>plate thickness, precision grade, application scenario, and customer working conditions<\/strong>. It is divided into two main categories: C-type right-angle chamfer and R-type radius chamfer. For 00\/000 grade precision plates, R-type radius chamfers are preferentially recommended as their anti-chipping effect is superior to C-type chamfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I. Key Selection Principles (Pitfall Avoidance)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Precision 000-level Platform Precautions<\/strong><br>Do not blindly increase chamfer sizes. Chamfers are non-working surfaces; excessively large chamfers compress the effective measurement working surface. Drawings must clearly state: <strong>The effective dimension of the working surface excludes the chamfer.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When is a C-chamfer sufficient?<br>For indoor fixed installation, rarely moved or hoisted, internal equipment bases, or on-site protection, C5 can be used; <strong>For export, frequent handling, hoisting requirements, or frequent on-site turnover, prioritize R-radius chamfers.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prohibited Small Chamfers: Not recommended to be smaller than C2\/R2<br>Tiny chamfers only remove burrs and do not prevent edge chipping; slight impacts will still cause large-scale chipping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Irregular Holes and Slot Corners: All hole openings should have R3-R5 radii; right-angle hole openings are high-risk areas for cracking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IV.
