The most common and practical fixing method for industrial precision granite platforms / plates

Common Fixation Methods for Granite Platforms

I. Most Universal: Three-Point Support Fixation (Mandall precision platforms)
** Applicable to:** Grade 00, Grade 0, Grade 1 precision inspection platforms, marking platforms, measurement bases
** Core Principle:** Three pnts define a plane, avoiding distortion caused by four-point loading and affecting flatness.
Structure:
3 support points on the bottom of the platform (usually distributed near the center of ty)
Equipped with: Adjustable shims / adjustment bolts / anti-vibration foot pads
Level the ground or stand and then lock tight
Advantages:
No internal stress generated, mostble flatness
Fastest installation and leveling
Default solution for almost all precision platforms

II. Adjustable Shim Fixation (Most common in workshops)
** Applicable to:** General precisiorms, marking platforms, assembly platforms
Structure:
Steel sleeves or threaded holes pre-embedded on the bottom of the platform
Equipped with height-adjustable shims (scr-lift type)
Locked with nuts after leveling is adjusted
Features:
Low cost, durable
Suitable for concrete floors, ordinary racks

III. Anti-Vibration Foot Pad Fixatiotion damping anti-displacement)
** Applicable to:** Near machine tools, vibration environments, precision measurement
Structure:
Three-point / four-point support
Rubber vibration pads or abration pads added to the bottom
Fixed by self-weight friction, no expansion screws required
Advantages:
Isolates ground vibration
Protects the platform from chipping aacking
First choice for high-precision measurement

IV. Frame Fixation (Frame Platform integrated)
** Applicable to:** Large platforms, inspection workbenches, equipment basescture:
Steel welded / profile frame
Platform rests on three adjustable supports
Frame and platform are not rigidly locked (to avoid tensile stress)
Key Points:
Platform is only surted, not clamped
Frame only bears weight, does not alter platform stress

V. Anchor Bolt Fixation (Heavy-duty, not recommended for precision platforms)
** Applicable Super heavy-duty foundation platforms, equipment bases (non-precision inspection)
Structure:
Reserved holes on the platform
Fixed with expansion bolts clamping plates
Note:
Rigidof precision platforms is strictly prohibited!
It easily leads to micro-deformation of the platform and flatness exceeding tolerance
Only used for heavy-duty tooling platforms

VI. Adhese Fixation (Integrated equipment base)
** Applicable to:** Granite machine tops, motion platform bases, gantry machine tools
Method:
Special stone structural adhesive used between the platform and tal frame
Cooperates with locating pins to prevent movement
Adhesive layer is uniform and thin, avoiding stress concentration
Features:
Strong integrity
Suitable for high-rigidity equick Selection Mnemonic (Memorize directly)
Precision inspection platform → Three-point support adjustable shims
Vibration environment → Three points vibration pads
Ordinary marking platform ustable shim fixation
Large workbench → Frame three-point support
Equipment base → Adhesive bonding locating pins
High precision absolutely not → Rigid b
