- Environmental Preparation
Temperature stability
Maintain the ambient temperature at 20±2℃ as steadily as possible, direct sunlight, air conditioning, and proximity to heat sources.
Place workpieces, measuring tools, and platforms in the same temperature for ≥2 to 4 hours in advance eliminate temperature difference errors.
Level and Support Check
Inspect the level gauge, and ensure that the platform’s level deviation is within the allowable range.
Ad foot pads to ensure even force distribution, no hanging, and no shaking.
Prohibit heavy pressure, impact, or movement of heavy workpieces on the platform.
2 Surface Cleaning (Crucial)
Use a dust-free cloth/rabbit skin cloth to wipe away floating dust.
For oil stains: Gently wipe with anhyd ethanol/isopropanol or neutral cleaner, and immediately dry.
Strictly Prohibited:
Washing with water, using acidic or alkaline cleaners, wool, sandpaper.
Leaving water stains, fingerprints, oil stains, iron filings.
- Preparation of Measuring Tools and Workpieces
Me tools (micrometer, caliper, gauge block, etc.) should be calibrated effectively and without damage.
Workpieces should be deburred, cleaned, free of iron fil, and without oil stains.
Place workpieces gently, without dragging or impacting the platform. - Personnel and Operation Specifications
Operators should not wear rings bracelets, or sharp jewelry.
Handle tools gently, and do not directly knock or grind workpieces on the platform.
Have soft pads/copper sheets/rubber ready for placing heavier or easily scratched workpieces. - Final Confirmation Before Use
The surface is clean, dry, free of scratches, and no foreign.
The platform is level, stable, and free of strange noises.
The ambient temperature is stable and free of vibration sources.
Workpieces and measuring tools are at the temperature, clean, and qualified.
