Types of Stone
Priority: Jinan Green / Fujian Green / Indian Black Sandalwood
Characteristics: Fine and uniform grain, crack-free, impurity-free, best stability
Avoid: Mixed color marbled stone, materials with obvious texture layering
Material Grade
Precision equipment must select: Grade A material / Grade 00 material
Crack-free, no color lines, no cavities, long-term deformation resistance
II. Flatness Precision (Most Critical)
Classified by National Standard: Grade 000, Grade 00, Grade 0, Grade 1, Grade 2
LCD Panel Inspection / Laser Processing:
Must be Grade 00 or above
Common Requirements:
Flatness: ≤ 2~5 μm/m
Roughness: Ra ≤ 0.025~0.1 μm (Mirror finish)
Insufficient precision means even expensive equipment cannot measure accurately or process stably.
III. Geometric Precision (Perpendicularity, Parallelism)
High-precision equipment requires checking not only the surface but also:
Side perpendicularity
Positioning of T-slots / threaded holes
Overall parallelism
General requirements for LCD inspection and laser equipment:
Perpendicularity: ≤ 0.005 mm / 100 mm
Hole position accuracy: ±0.01 mm
IV. Dimensions and Thickness (Rigidity Determines Deformation)
Principle: The larger the size, the thicker it needs to be; the heavier it is, the more stable it is
Conventional thickness reference:
Tabletop < 500mm: Thickness 80~100mm Tabletop 500~1000mm: Thickness 120~150mm Tabletop 1000~2000mm: Thickness 200~300mm Ultra-large size (Panel inspection): Recommend splicing structure stiffeners to ensure overall rigidity Too thin will cause micro-bending deformation, directly ruining precision. Large sizes must have stiffeners / thickened edges

Vibration Damping
The denser the grain, the better the damping, and the stronger the vibration resistance
Corrosion Resistance
For clean rooms and acid/alkali environments, select dense, pore-free material; perform sealing treatment if necessary
